Israel Feast of Tabernacles Tour – Sept 23- Oct 4, 2015

DAY 1, Sept. 23 – Departure from Houston on Turkish Air #34

DAY 2, Sept 24– Arrive Israel at 8:15 pm and transfer to Maagan Kibbutz Guesthouse on the shores the Sea of Galilee.

DAY 3, Sept 25 – Travel north on the strategic GOLAN HEIGHTS where we will visit an ISRAELI ARMY BASE and show our support to the soldiers that sacrifice for the fulfillment of Israel being a nation again. Continue to BANIAS – CEASAREA PHILLIPI – where Peter first stated his belief in Jesus as Messiah and where it is believed David wrote Psalm 42. We will have a special teaching near the springs. Visit TEL DAN, and see an ancient gate from the time of Abraham. Time permitting; enjoy a stroll through the nature reserve on the Dan River. Visit a SHOFAR FACTORY and hear more about the biblical significance of it’s sounding. Overnight Galilee.

DAY 4, Sept 26 – Awake to an inspirational view of the SEA OF GALILEE. Ascend the MT. OF BEATITUDES where we will worship our amazing God. Visit CAPERNAUM, center of Jesus’ ministry, the ancient synagogue and ruins. Enjoy a St. Peter’s lunch on the Lake. See the 2000-YEAR OLD FISHING BOAT, found in Galilee. Take a BOAT RIDE on the Lake for a time of praise and worship. Return to the JORDAN RIVER for a baptismal service. Visit a Culinary Date & Spice Shop. Overnight Galilee.

DAY 5, Sept 27- Depart Galilee via the Jordan Valley passing the Jericho and the Mt. of Temptation en route to the Judean Desert. Take a cable car to MASADA, where after the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple, Jewish zealots withstood the Romans for many years before finally being defeated. For those who have been to Masada before, you will have the option to spend time at the DEAD SEA relaxing and swimming. We will stop at QUMRAN where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. View MT. NEBO, where Moses saw the Promised Land before his final work was completed. In the evening have DINNER UNDER THE STARS at EN GEDI for the ICEJ CELEBRATION. Overnight at the Olive Tree Hotel, Jerusalem.

DAY 6, Sept 28 - Begin the day with a panoramic view from atop the MT. OF OLIVES where our guide will give us a perspective of the city today and how it was in the time of Jesus. Descend the PALM SUNDAY ROAD to the GARDEN OF GETHSEMANE with its ’2000 year old olive trees. Continue for a walk through Stop for devotion at the outlook towards Bethlehem. Stop for lunch, on your own, at the Old JERUSALEM TRAIN STATION with its unique restaurants and shops. Continue to the GARDEN TOMB, where we will take communion and reflect on Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice and redemption. Walk through the quiet garden and look towards the skull shaped hill of CALVARY. Dinner in a SUKKAH at our hotel. Feast Celebrations. Overnight Jerusalem

DAY 7, Sept 29 - In the morning we will travel through the countryside of Abraham and Sara, towards Hebron. We will VISIT RABBI RISKIN’S (a long time contributor to the Jerusalem Post.) CENTER FOR BIBLICAL STUDY. Here we will have a chance to study the Scriptures at an Orthodox Yeshiva. Visit MACHANE YEHUDA OUTDOOR MARKET where you can sample some local specialties and have a chance to see the lulav and etrog displayed. Continue to YAD VASHEM, HOLOCAUST MUSEUM AND MEMORIAL. Overnight Jerusalem.

DAY 8, Sept 30 – In the morning begin at Jaffa Gate, where we will walk through the picturesque cobblestone ways of Jerusalem’s Old City. Visit the Jewish Quarter of the Old City where we will view the ancient Roman CARDO and the BROAD WALL. Visit the TEMPLE INSTITUTE where we will see articles of worship that have been prepared for the Third Temple and hear about worship during the time of the First and Second Temples. Visit the BURNT HOUSEandHERODIAN QUARTER. Continue for a time prayer at the WESTERN WALL. Visit the Southern Excavations and the SOUTHERN STEPS OF THE TEMPLES. Feast of Tabernacles celebration in the evening. Overnight Jerusalem.

DAY 9, Oct 1 - Morning participation in the FEAST SEMINARS. In the afternoon, join Christians from around the world for the JERUSALEM MARCH, as we dress in native costume and carry banners and flags down the streets of Jerusalem in Christian support of the Jewish State. “Thou wilt arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is a time to be gracious to her for the appointed time has come.” Overnight Jerusalem.

DAY 10, Oct 2 – Today is free to explore on our own. For those who wish, we will go to experience Shabbat at the Western Wall. Overnight Jerusalem.

DAY 11, Oct 3 - Travel the beautiful drive through the Judean Hills Wine Country.  See the VALLEY OF ELAH, where David fought Goliath. Travel to beautiful CASAREA on the MEDITERRANEAN COAST, where the gospel first went out to the gentiles. Here we will visit the Roman Amphitheatre, archaeological park and relax at a café overlooking the Sea. Visit JAFFA, where Jonah set said and Peter had his vision to bring the gospel to the gentiles. Overnight Dan Panorama, Tel Aviv.

DAY12, Oct 4 –Depart for the airport for our morning departure at 9:50 a.m.
