2nd Visit to Israel with Red Sea, Eilat and Petra


Day One

Depart Israel

Day Two

Arrive Israel and transfer to hotel in Tel Aviv. Take a stroll along the Mediterranean before retiring. Overnight Tel Aviv.

Day Three

Travel through the Judean and Negev Deserts. Visit Sde Boker where David Ben Gurion lived and dreamed of seeing the Negev Flourish. Travel to Mt. Yoash for a panoramic view of the Eilat Heights and see the borders of four countries – Egypt, Saudia Arabia, Jordan and Israel. Overnight in Eilat on the Red Sea.

Day Four

In the morning relax on the beach. You can go snorkeling or even take a diving lesson and see some of the beautiful tropical fish and coral in the Red Sea. Visit the Underwater Observatory. In the afternoon relax on a Yacht in the Red Sea. Overnight Eilat

Day Five

Early morning transfer to the Arava border at Aquaba, where we will cross over into Jordan, entering the land of the Moabites and Edomites. Continue our tour of Petra, the Rose Rock City, one of the ancient wonders of the world. Overnight Eilat.

Day Six

Journey north and hike to En Avodot Spring. It was here, or near by, in the Zin Desert where Moses and the Children of Israel wandered and where they ran short of water and Moses, at God’s command, struck the rock with his staff, Numbers 20:1-11. Visit a Bedouin tent and hear about the desert life experienced by Abraham and the Patriarchs. Go for night swim in the Dead Sea. Overnight Dead Sea.

Day Seven

In the morning hike to the En Gedi Waterfall and pools where David hid from King Saul, or visit Massada. Continue to Jerusalem where we will stand atop the Mt. of Olives and “pray for the peace of Jerusalem.” Overnight Jerusalem.

Day Eight

See some of the new excavations at the City of David. Pray at the Western Wall. Explore the Old City of Jerusalem. Worship and communion service at the Garden Tomb. Overnight Jerusalem.

Day Nine

Travel to the most probable site where John was baptizing in the Jordan River. Drive the Jordan Valley past Jericho, Mt. of Temptation and Mt. Gilboa. Visit the spectacular Roman ruins at Beit Shean. Take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee for a time of prayer and worship. Overnight Galilee.

Day Ten

Take a drive around the entire Lake of Galilee, past sites of Jesus’ ministry. Drive north through hillside Druze villages and hear of their mysterious religion. Travel to the Crusader City of Acco. Dinner in Caesarea on the Mediterranean Sea. Proceed to airport.
