Day One:

Depart for Israel

Day Two:

Arrive Israel and transfer to the Galilee.
Day Three:

In the morning take a hike in the Swiss Forest overlooking the Sea of Galilee Visit the picturesque city of Tzfat with its’ art galleries and quaint synagogues. Take a horseback ride through the Biriaya Forest. Stop at Rosh Pinna for coffee in this charming village created at the turn of the century by Baron de Rothschild. Stop at Korazin, one of the centers of Jesus’ teaching. At sunset board our boat for a journey on the Sea of Galilee, and a time of praise and worship. In the evening have a brief tour at biblical Gadara, Hammt Gader, where we will enjoy the modern Therapeutic Mineral Baths (that stand next to 2000 year old Roman baths) and then enjoy a kosher Thai meal. Overnight Galilee.

Day Four:

In the morning we will travel to the Yeudia Forest where we will hike to beautiful waterfalls, build an open fire and brew tea from local herbs. We pause to pray over the Golan Heights, biblical Bashan. Visit and Israeli Army Base and bring gifts for the soldiers. Take a Jeep Trip through the back roads Galilee. Raft one of the sources of the Jordan River. Overnight Galilee

Day Five:

Travel the road to Nazareth. Stop at Tzippori, which was one of the largest Jewish cities in Galilee during the time of Jesus, and a possible place he may have been employed. Visit the site of a 2000-year-old synagogue in Nazareth. Continue to Kfar Kedem where you will have the opportunity to experience life as it was during the time of Jesus. We will bake bread over an open fire, see how olive oil was pressed, dress in biblical costume and have middle-eastern hospitality in a wool woven tent. Enjoy an art lesson from a local artist and create your own painting of the Galilee to take home. Overnight Galilee.

Day Six:

Travel through beautiful Druze Villages and hear about their mysterious beliefs. Stop in Haifa at the Immigration & Naval Museum, which chronicles accounts, such as the Exodus, where Jewish immigrants first came to Israel during the British Mandate, and were returned to Nazi Europe, or kept in camps. Continue to the top of Mt Carmel for a panoramic view of the city, and to recall the battle Elijah once had with the prophets of Baal. Visit the spectacular Crusader city of Akko. Visit the white cliff grottos of Rosh Hanikrah. Travel through the beautiful mountains of the upper Galilee. Overnight Galilee.

Day Seven:

Travel to Mt. Gilboa, where Saul and Jonathan fell in battle. Continue down the Jordan Valley to the Dead Sea where we will hike to the waterfall and pools of En Gedi, where David hid from Saul. Enjoy a visit to a Dead Sea Spa where you can enjoy the mineral rich mud and hot pools. Overnight in the desert under the stars as Abraham and the Patriarchs did. Learn about living and surviving in the desert.

Day Eight:

In the morning enjoy a camel ride and Turkish coffee before proceeding to Jerusalem. Visit the Tower of David Museum, which chronicles the 4000- year-old history of the city. Walk atop the ramparts of the Walls of Jerusalem and pray over the city. Visit the Western Wall and discover hidden places in the Old City.

Day Nine:

Visit the outdoor market of Machane Yehuda. Walk through some of the most interesting streets of New Jerusalem, discovering the first Knesset and Eliezer Ben Yehuda’s home. Travel to the Valley of Elah, where David slew Goliath and visit some of the new boutique wineries.. Visit the City of David. Watch the sunset golden over the city from the Mt. of Olives.

Day Ten:

Have morning worship and communion at the Garden Tomb Lunch at the American Colony Hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore on your own.

Day Eleven:

Visit Mt. Herzl Museum. Visit the Hall of Independence. Enjoy free time in Tel Aviv,’s Neve Tzedek, which feels like Paris on the Mediterranean. Optional Culinary Class in Mediterranean/Eastern cuisine. Proceed to the airport.
